At Last Call Border Collies, we are committed to breeding Border Collies that excel in working, sporting, and active living homes. Our mission is to prioritize health, temperament, biddability, and athleticism, ensuring that each dog thrives in every aspect of life.

BREEDING EXCELLENCE

We focus on breeding Border Collies of exceptional quality, with a strong emphasis on health, temperament, and athleticism. Our dogs are well-suited for various purposes, be it herding, agility, or as active companions.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Early habit formation and basic obedience is something we focus heavily on with each litter. We want to start each litter with a solid foundation and with confidence so that they can thrive from day one in their new homes. We feed high quality food, focus on potty training at an early age, and expect good manners around livestock and kids.

By 8 weeks old, our puppies are exposed to a range of experiences to help us gauge their drive, temperament, and adaptability. We focus on matching each pup with a home where they’ll excel in their working role and contribute to the success of their new home.

ABOUT ME

A Border Collie Enthusiast and Animal Lover at Heart

I started training our family dog in agility when I was 10. I loved her dearly, but she wasn’t a Border Collie. I’ll never forget the first time I saw a Border Collie in person at one of our practices—she flew through the course, her speed and confidence almost as loud as her excited bark. The weave poles didn’t stand a chance, and she made the tunnel seem six feet shorter than it actually was. It was love at first sight. At 18, I bought my first Border Collie and never looked back. I began working her with sheep and quickly found my place in that world. In 2014, I bred her to a stud from Broken Circle bloodlines, and that’s where my breeding journey truly began.
